Has anyone seen these before or know what they are worth? They are all limited edition. All the coins are in airtite holders, and blue cases. (Similar to the cases that the RCM uses for NCLT) I found a site that had similar coins for $60-$75 each. http://www.rivercitycoins.com/ssrba...aseball.html1994 Eastern Division Champions Number 1836 of 5000 1993 World Champions Number 4527 of 25,000 1993 - Legend of The Game: Nolan Ryan Number 2614 of 15,000 All the coins came with this COA as well.

I've had Gretzki and other NHL championship 1oz silver rounds from the 80s, and had trouble getting rid of them much above spot. I would guess the same for these unless there is a larger collector base for them, even with the COA and limited mintage.

I see them all the time in dealer's silver bins with generic silver. They are usually one of the last items to go along with Christmas and other holiday rounds, Happy Retirement bars, Graduation bars, etc. They all seem to be considered generic low end silver.

I have the Blue Jays one, as well as many NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL 1oz coins and 4.25oz cards. Produced by the highland mint. use to be a very popular item, now only seen for scrap value

Baseball silver? Even though people paid a premium in the day, they are only worth bullion prices now. Just another example of what they did to us "baseball card" collectors in the 1980-1990's.

Problem with that angle, is items like that appeal to the hard core fan, and too often the hard core fan is not even thinking about silver, and when thinking of sports mem, they think jerseys, sign items, balls, bats, pictures etc., again not silver round....
Less then 1% are into PM's to begin of the world pop. Still millions of people, but how many of them are fans of like say the Boston Bruins like me, and also look to invest in silver, probably not too many....
But hey, sometimes buying something does NOT have to be about what you can get for it later, but how much you enjoy it, the most important thing in the end to me....
I did have that nice 4 oz. Detroit red wing round limited of 250 from there Cup run in 1997, and it sold real fast for more then I had in it, so you just never know, esp if you go with larger designs with case an COA like the fore mentioned....

Wait until they have another great season and see if you can command a premium in the fury.
