I called it XF details
there is a small detached lamination above the Trust.
And it has been cleaned some time in its life.
Price paid $35

Gee. If this is an XF then I am quite happy with my example.
It came to me "from the mother of a friend of my sister" who had a group of coins and I did my best to give her a good price.
That "We" is the killer!

I need to go to coin shows. This bad boy would sell for 2-3 times that price on ebay.

Only if I grossly over-graded it I'm sure I could get a lot more with a headline of something like this
Uncirculated civil war 2 Cent lamination error rare...

But my ebay experiences have taught me that if I call it what it is it will only fetch EF money.
People are just too lazy to grade for themselves..

I was bidding on some 2 centers and they didn't look any better than this one and they kept getting to $60 and $70. So I said forget it. I'll get one somewhere else. I've actually never been to a coin show. I'm a little intimidated.

Gorgeous; I'm on the AU boat. I think it's worth 60 - 70 dollars.
