Candy, my daughter-in-law, works at Taco Bell and always brings home the wheats she finds (for me of course). Over the past week, on day one, she brings home about 4 43p and a few 48s maybe a couple other 40's. The next day she brings more of the same, lots of 43p and S mint from the 40's. On the 3rd day she only finds one,a 46S and I'm thinking ok its done. The 4th day she brings home a 53s and it seems unrelated so yeah, it's done. Today she brings home this (1940s mostly S mint)

Your son did good. I doubt my GF would do that for me, let alone for my father.

It's hard to believe how many wheats are still out there in the wild!

It was obviously a collection dump. No way 15 1943's and 12 1948S in one batch by chance.
Can't wait to see what's on the menu today :)

If a collection dump, it is very small. Probably from a hoarder that kept them tucked away in a drawer and just found them. Or someone slowly stealing from a collection, so they don't notice it. Very nice daughter-in-law! And who cashes in cents these days? Hardly anyone uses change. They must be really desperate for money to get something to eat.

Candy was off today So, I got a brick from the bank that services Taco Bell... on the off chance. My bank by the way. Grabbed a roll that looked nice...1946S on one end and 1945S on the other (sounds like an ebay ad minus the "Unsearched" These are sealed Strings bricks, not customer rolls. Party time! PS got a brick from cross town as a control box. Make sure it's not city wide. PSS Hope the collector did not delve into S/S Note to self: Go get another box tommorow!

I love Candy on Valentine's Day! I found 6 rolls with wheats showing. 2 with just ears, 46s, 45s, 46d and the 1 double 48sx45s (had the highest count, tallest stack well...duh!) Total 1943 - 8 Other P Mint - 16 Total S Mint - 18 Total D mint - 11 The rest of the brick should be pretty cool.

hmm not really Yank, but I'm really just pulling. I'll look closer later. Hoping for some RPM's with all these MM's. Saw these in the six rolls though and put them aside A trend I hope continues. I like these for some odd reason.
