I think we will need much larger and higher resolution photos to tell anything, Don't know what your camera can shoot at but try to fill the entire sensor and post images at least 800 pixels on the smallest side. If it's too big for CCF posting it should auto resize from photobucket - once you've uploaded to their site copy the IMG tag under the photo they show, then paste it into the reply to topic link at the bottom of the page, not the quick reply at the bottom of the page. that should work, It's how I have been getting around the size issues but still able to post a large image like this: That way the image will be visable in your post rather than the link only, and the photo will be clickable to open a full sized image in a new window. I'm just starting a collection of the 1972 DDO myself so I have a lot to learn, I have bought a few so far.

Definitely need better pics. Die #4 is also known for rim Cuds on the obverse and I don't see those.

Thanks everyone. I'm working on better pictures. It's at least a #7 for sure.

Images still not quite good enough to see the doubling clearly. As for the die #4 markers, I don't see the most important ones which are a die scratch running through the N (reverse) and the rim Cuds on obverse which aren't pictured on cc.

The die scratch I'm refering to should be like the blue line I added...I don't see it on yours and it should be obvious.

Must be a number 7 then. Thanks for sticking with it.
