64, simply because there are so many 65s out there.

I'll go MS-66 on this one, it looks better than 65.

WOW, I did better than I thought I did. Personally, and this was personally an uneducated guess, I had her pegged for ~MS62.
Not being a Morgan collector (yet,) any suggestions on what I should list this coin for in my/our eCrater store? I hesitate to say what I paid, because someone may expect to get the coin for close to that amount... If any of YOU 4 guys want to know, I will send you a message through the CCF message center.

usually any coin that grades MS-64 or above I would probably suggest getting it slabbed to get the most out of it, this is not the case with this date/mm combination. There are so many 66's and 67's of this combination anything 65 or below really doesn't bring enough of a premium when slabbed over raw to justify the expense. I think I may see some nicks behind the head that is hard to see in the pictures so in my opinion this may be a MS-64, and you having the coin in hand and thinking it was a MS-62 really confirms that there may be something causing the lower grade in your mind. If you saw a MS-66 coin and not knowing how to grade these things your first thought would be WOW this thing is a 68-69 all day long
