This was bought as my first Greek coin, but it was stuck in the post office for a few weeks. A good price too--I offered the seller 14% off, and got it.
It's pretty well-centered with good reverse detail.

That's a really nice looking coin. Great details. I'm just curious though, how much was the coin going for?

Thanks! I got this from Lucernae on ebay, recommended by a fellow CCFer. Well-packed coins, good communication.
What sold me on this coin was the reverse, better than several on vcoins for twice the price; mine cost $60.

Very nice.

The letters on the reverse of these types are cool with the dots even on the A

I have a couple of Cappodocian drachms, neither as nice as this one, but they came fairly cheaply. Paid less than $20 for each of them.

The number in exergue is gamma lambda or 33 - a year date - note there is no crossbar on the A. Like Sel-69l I bought a few when they were available but only kept a couple. Not all have a clear date. This one is theta kappa or 29 but of a different ruler. I have mine identified to Ariobarzanes I but am not fully clear on the distinctions. You might want to check all references available to you and confirm the seller's ID. I'd say Ariarathes V is also a possibility.

Great coin I have no ancient Greek coins atm (only Greek I have is Byzantine), but I'm tempted to pick up something of Alexander the Great (something cheap like a bronze coin). Again nice coin.

Thanks for the info!
$20 would be a very good price.
