Some old man came to me and give me 2 coins/tokens of arabic letter. after doing some reseach those coins were used in 171 hijrah year or 787year gregorian calendar.

you can see Isa/Jesus in arabic word on the coins.and the other side showed words of yassin means one of the chapter in kuran and the year of 171 hijrah (maybe) in arabic (IVI).

Both are the same? Is that one coin (front and back) shown?

Very interesting piece there.

Some one should come along that knows more about this type of thing.

This is a Pilgrimage token often found in South East Asia. They were given to bring luck to those taking the Haj pilgrimage. It is unlikely to be very old.
