I initally was trying to put together a circulated roll of half eagle, and I always get hung up at some point. Well, indians had been my focus, and I was always trying to get date mm issues that I didn't have. Now I have enough to start putting together a set, so I bought a blank dansco with blank 21mm pages(they dont make danscos for indian half eagles) I'm starting to hit the tougher dates now, and I have a 15-s and an 11-d on the way, which means I only need 6 more to complete. Unfortunately, 2 of those the 1929 and the 1909-O...

I have an AU-58 1910-s in a slab, and I have been debating as to whether to crack it out and put it in the album. The problem is that S mints start gaining quick in value at AU-58, so I could take a potential loss if I cracked it out....still debating. I will update this thread when I get some more together.

Very purdy. Love the note on the '29

This is by my favorite American coin. Not even close to being within my budget, but still my favorite.

Maybe we should see some close-ups of the 1910-S to see how close it might be to a downgrade, although I'd wager it is at more risk from fluctuations in gold prices.

VERY nice my friend!

(I wanted to do this too but Dansco didn't have an album for this coin type, so I moved on to something else!) and now I'm sad...

But I really like your solution!

That's definitely a fun set to go after. I have some XF's, but no AU's. It might be a safer bet to go after them in slabs and just break them out.

Johnny, If you EVER EVER EVER need to or want to sell that 1910S leave it in the slab !
It just adds so much to its value.
