I have never seen or held a Trade dollar, Bryan. That hole in my 7070 looks so sad and empty. I will emal you my address. Seriously, you and Deb embody the spirit of this community that I am glad to be part of. Peace Colin

Mila Cent:
The Morgans $, my favorite coin series.
I have 90 of them, need five (5) to complete the set; 1885CC, 89CC, 93S, 94, & the 95S. Once you get one, your hooked for life.
Have Fun Ron (ronaldb112)

I probably shouldn't say this but I just don't see what is so great about those Morgan dollars. There are books about just them, everyone I know tries to collect them, they are all over every coin show, constantly discussed on these coin forums. I have a few someone gave me in a box somewhere but other than that I sure wouldn't go out looking for one. Sorry to all you Morgan people.

To each his own. What you said describes how I feel about Peace dollars.

I agree Morgans are the best. My brother just got me started collecting. I only have 2, but one of them is a Carson City. You can bet I wil be getting more.

TLS, just showed the cup to my wife. I think she laughed as hard as I did. Thanks for the smile. Jim

Which Morgan CC did you get? All the CC coins are now in great demand.
Thanks, Ron (ronaldb112)

New to coin colection. So far I only got coins from mint. The only thing is close to Morgan is SF old mint silver dollar. I am wondering what is so special about the Morgan so that every experienced collectors love it. When I see my AGE, I see deep strike.

Indeed. No accounting for personal taste. Peace & Mercury are my favorite coins, but it's more for sentimental reasons than anything - those were the 1st coins I saw in my grandfather's cigar box that I didn't recognize. As I kid I assumed that money was the same as it had always been. Morgans are lovely coins though - I like 'em both, but Peaces will always be my favorite. Others probably have similar sentimental favorites - my favorite coin is a Peace that is worth a whopping $17!
