Hi! Just wanting some thoughts on this nickel I have. It is very badly worn but just out of curiosity would like to know if anyone thinks that this could be a 4 over 3 or is it too worn to tell? Thank You!

I don't see 4 over 3 but maybe it just didn't show up in the photo. You might need a microscope to get a really good look. Good luck.

It's a possiblility but remote, we need better photos, you could try using what ever camera you shot these through and hold a magnifying lens in front of the camera, or get ahold of a cheap USB microscope camera, probably around 10-20 power should be fine.

It has a fair chance of having been one, but the traces are usually faint even on an unc coin. I don't think it would be possible to confirm on a piece in this low a grade. Sorry.
