My Coins Came Today!! - Coin Community Forum

Coin Girl Valued Member United States 99 Posts	Posted 01/25/2007 11:09 pm Hi everybody! I am so happy. In our mail box today was a wonderful package from dsking. There was a 1909 penny, and a 2006 American Eagle which is my favorite coin. I put the coins in a box I bought for keeping my collection in. I now want to get coin albums and start to collect the U.S. Lincoln cents as well as the silver Eagles. Thanks dsking, I am so happy about the coins!! Report this Post to the Staff

Send me an email also as I have a lot of things that I bought in lots when I started this venture a few months back. Lots of duplicates and coins that I haven't even sorted through yet. You are a wonderful young person and it just seemed appropriate for you to have your favorite coin. Look closely at the obverse bottom of the cent and you'll see a little VDB. OK...now you have some research to do also! We have a lot of wonderful and generous folks here on the forum as well as extremely knowledgeable. You may as well get the Reverse Proof before they get any crazier ... if you want a certified example, I would buy a PR69 ... they look cheap compared with the $800-$1,000 and up that PR70 examples are selling for ... and there is little if ANY observable difference! I got back 10 of each from NGC, sold 4 of the Reverse Proofs and kept one for myself ... Report this Post to the Staff

I think what might be happening is that our (mine and Coin Girl) e-mails are ending up in your "junk folder. I have had that happen with the one you sent today, as well as with the e-mails of several other CCF members. Luckily, I was able to rescue them before the computer deleted tham.
