Hi does anybody know anything about the 2000 non-magnetic quarters? A few were auctioned in 2006 by Walsh. At the time he told me that they were the accumulation of a major vending company and they would have sifted through hundreds of millions of coins. Seems a lot of odd stuff were produced that year.

Are they caribou or the set of 12? Sets were produced in silver.

It's not silver. Normal size planchette weighs 6.12 grams

Non-Magnetic-2000-Quarters
The quarter is magnetic.
It doesn't have a mint mark/logo
(I should have showed the obverse)

I have the same one. Never heard of non magnetic 2000.

The best help you can get was already mentioned and that is to weigh the coin in either grams or grains.
