Can I list auctions with a fixed shipping rate, offer free shipping with Buy It Now, and have ebay figure the discount? Or, should I just mention the fixed rate and free shipping, without setting the auction to automatically add shipping? I also have to allow for multiple-item shipping discounts.

Help?

I would put free shipping 1st Item and .95 cent for all the other you are sell USPS get .39oz for letter size and 9x7 is .52 cent per oz. But that what I would, you don't want pay more shipping than need?

I honestly don't know. ebay isn't always reliable at computing the things we use all the time (like regular combined shipping). You may want to just state in the auction that shipping will be free with BIN and tell the buyer to wait for the invoice. If you accept Paypal and the buyer doesn't wait, the worst case scenario is that you'll have to do a partial refund for the shipping, which is very easy to do. If you have a business Paypal account, the fees are credited back for that portion also.

If the buyer does not wait for the invoice, then do a revised invoice and an email to make sure they pay attention to the bottom line.

You need to fill in the shipping amt just in case your Item goes to bid ,, and it does not sell BIN.

You can alway revise the invoice before sending it.

If you keep your nose turned upward to sniff the wind, you are going to drown. I am about to release the floodgates - I have almost 80 1921 VAM's to appear on ebay in the next month.

Question---Free-Shipping-With-Buy-It-Now I will be watching.

Just a suggestion Dave, but you might want to spread them out over two or three months if a lot of them have the same VAM desgination, you might drive your own prices down.I have noticed when I put a lot of the same year Morgan up for auction,I get less per each than if I sell a few at a time.
Just a thought.

The are over 50 unique VAM's in the total, TLS - I've already rid myself of most of my dupes. However, I'm already taking your advice into consideration - any duplicates will be spread apart, and I'm considering rarity and condition when setting end times and dates.

Rest assured, nothing will be ending on Superbowl Sunday.

I just offer free for BIN in the description. Then, ask them to wait for an invoice before paying.

Some don't read. In some cases I send a refund, but Paypal has been getting a little stupid when I tried that the last two times.
