Also unfamiliar but, to me its a great looking coin. Can't say on how you did until we know where you got it and for what!

I think it's at least MS65, a very pretty coin

picked this up about a month ago at a local dealer with some Walking Liberty halves. The dealer had his part timer in there and that tends to be a good thing for me. especially if the coin is ungraded and unpriced.....the guy can't grade coins .....he put this one at Fine and priced it accordingly....which was around $70 I jumped on that plus a couple early walkers. I don't really know how to grade these however I will say I have not been able to find any wear on the coin.

Fine?! If that coin isn't MS, I'll eat my shoe. Even if it's got some kind of tiny wear not visible in the picture, it's a country mile away from fine.

he did the same on a walker.....he graded it as AG and it was around a Fine.....which is a big difference on a 1917-S obverse....walked out with that one for $13

AU-58, luster looks more muted than usual for these. If not, MS-64

I am thinking XF on this one. I have a AU-55 in my Dansco Album and the eagle on the Reverse looks more detailed than yours and I don't think it is from a weak strike, I believe it is from circulation

If this isn't MS it's as close as you can get. Nice coin!

Great score for $70. High point of this design ... and hence the first place circulation wear shows up ... is the Eagle breast and Ms. Liberty hair and right knee. All three of these features on your coin appear to be missing metal ... therefore this is a circulated example ... and I am going with AU55 ... depending on the amount of luster remaining. Net mintage of 9,039 coins ... one of the 13 date/mm in this always popular 1934-1938 mini series. David

I think this half is as close to MS as possible without quite being there. I see just the slightest wear (or rub) on the high points. I'll say AU-58.

AU-53 there is obvious wear on the arms wing tops and knee on obverse and wear on the eagle's breast on the reverse a super looking coin!

Beautiful coin. I'm looking at a MS65 and MS66 and I'd say your coins is no less than 63...I'll stick my neck out and say MS64.
