This is my first post as I'm new here, I'm not sure how high of quality these shots will show up, but I'm giving it a try : P I'm uploading a coin I bought from a coin show this weekend, 1913 quarter gold indian slabbed by pcgs, let me know what you think as far as grade. ] Edited by Amputating 03/05/2012 12:23 am

You should cover up the entire serial number on the PCGS holder. All you need is the last 8 digits to look up the slab on the PCGS site.

I have replaced my photos with new ones, I'm not a professional photographer, but I hope they are good enough to grade

I will guess a AU-58 grade. It could make MS-61 or 62. It looks like there is a scratch by the E in liberty and a another behind the eagle's neck which has me a bit more doubtful of a problem free grade but I will stick with my guess.

Tough to grade with photos that are angled. But from what I can tell I'm thinking AU-55. I generally am not too good on this series however.

I think I see slight wear on the eagle's shoulder and the Indian's cheek. Luster also does not look strong which could indicate some friction. Based on these photos I'd rule out mint state and go with AU-58. The scratches don't look severe enough to generate a problem label. By the way, Welcome!

Nice coin! I collect these in series. It is darn near impossible to grade these from pics unless you can get a read on the luster. The field luster is usually the first to go when the coin is exposed to wear. With full field luster and luster on the cheek, they usually grade MS. If there is no or little field luster, I would say higher AU. I'm not seeing much luster from these pics, but it could be the lighting. I have seen lots of lustrous MS examples with lack of detail on the upper reverse wing, so I don't think that is as much of a grading criteria as some may believe.

Im thinking AU53
nice example. Seems to be some rub on the Cheek, Brow, Jaw and high points of the feathers on the OBV.
