My total so far out of easily 120,000 pennies is about 300 wheats.

The nicest was a 1912 with AU details and only a little rim damage, so about XF overall.

Last year I sold a full box of wheaties ,last month I sold 4884 LWC's all 30's 40's & 50's ; I only kept 12 rolls of teens and 20's or full red ones !
The best I had was a full cwr box of LWC's with 9 IHC's . In january I also got couple solid wheat rolls from a bank with some mm teens ! It was the only 2 scores in hundreds of boxes ; besides that never found more then 20 LWC in a box ! 3 weeks ago I found a xf-31S from 6 cwr's = my best find ever !

Mrlexmark......I was wrong about saying you would never find that many in a box again. I just found 141.

This week I have gotten 2 wheat pennies in change at the stores. Today it was a 1941S in decent shape. Was surprised to get it with the S mintmark. A first for me from store change.

Most I ever found was about 270 in one box that were all cwr. Had a few solid rolls but nothing valuable.
I have prolly found about 500-600 in my searching but my average is 20 per box.

My son and I have gone through 2 boxes so far and found 15 in the first and 14 in the second. The oldest was a 1917. We have been at about 25% copper though and getting a pretty good amount of Canadian coins (64). We even found a coin from the Commonwealth of the Bahamas!

I usually get about 2 or 3 wheat cents for every $5 of rolls.

Total, I've got about 10 wheaties in the $20 I've spent roll hunting.
