Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience last night searching through a 10 pound lot of wheat pennies that I bought, all of a sudden there it is 1909s vdb, the real deal, legit. paid 78 dollars for the ten pounds. I am very excited, pics will follow this morning as soon as I can get a decent picture of it that shows the detail.  |

sorry about the quality, these were taken with my phone with a magnifying glass to boost the detail, lol, need to work on my photography skills!   |

If anyone reading the forum lives in northwestern wisconsin and would look at my coin and help me figure out what to do with it I would appreciate the advice.

Congratulations on your good fortune! The obvious question is, Where did you buy the bulk lot? Maybe there are still some unsearched lots out there!  Of course, it is of prime importance to have it either sent to a TPG for certification, or take it to somebody near your locale to take a look at it. |

You should post on the "modern U.S. coins" forum also, you'll get more of the guys looking at it.

Congratulations , I was waiting for the time when someone would find and post it in here ! I always knew it was possible and always believe ! I'm not more happy because isn't me lol . You found a SVDB I found a 31S and I remember other member has found a 14D just for these who doubt about the possibilities !. I still ll find my ..

hmm maybe its just me but the nines look like they close and lincolns nose looks kind of funny? maybe its the picture - but wow what a find if its truly geniune!
