So I've been roll searching for a few months now and I get a lot of my coins from the bank that is just around the corner from my house. I've been with them since they opened...5 years or so. Anyways I have a good re pore with the tellers that work there. I picked up a box today and the one teller asked if I could bring them back, because it was their last box, when I was done. So brought the box back in and she was asking how I did. I told her I found 1 silver and she was happy about it. Good deed #1 She was then telling me a story about how she had a friend that past away a year or so ago. She was on the beach with another friend talking about her her friend that had recently passed away and she saw something shinny in the sand. She picked it up and it was a 1944 dime...the same year that her friend was born in. Anyways, she said that she carried that dime around for the last year and was disappointed that she had lost the dime a few months ago. So when I got home I checked my dimes and I had one 1944 so I grabbed it and drove back to the bank and gave it to her. I figured that it might mean more to her than 2 me. Good deed #2 Also, same branch today with different teller. Last time I was in getting coins, the one teller showed me one of the canadian colored quarters from the parks collection and she was just sooo happy to see it. So, I ordered one of the free cardboard envelopes for the series that the RCM was giving away and it came in the mail today. So I put 2 quarters in it and gave it to the teller today and she was just beside herself that I had ordered it and gave it to her. Anyways, just a feel good story about my experiences with the tellers that help me stack silver. Good karma in my books. CHEERS! ;)

Great to hear about your good deeds. I like to think they are returned, so you never know what they may save for you.

Thats good karma for you.
One of my best 2 pick up banks, mostly older ladies, Today I found out the head teller is retiring in september. Some time back she mentioned how she had lots of franklins from over the years but cashed them in sometime ago. I think I'm gonna bring her in a couple franklins in september in the holders, and a "thank you, good luck" type card. This is the bank were I got my monster box with 296 40%, I didnt tell her that though....lol...,but they Know I search for silver. I have a real good relationship with all the tellers in there. The new head teller, is really nice to me also. Some banks, love the regulars like us.
Funny story with this branch, my brother in law also collects, but has never done boxes, just rolls. He went into this bank, not knowing its one of main pick ups, asked for halves, the tellers told him "absolutely not, we dont have any your the tenth person today that asked"........lol.....
