stunning x5; I'd try to dislodge the adherence from 1955.
Isn't it amazing how much variation there is among the obverses, when the reverses are so uniform.

Yes it's weird, the Mary Gillick portrait never seemed to strike uniformly, Even in my Canadian collection I have the same dilemma.
The Arnold Machin portrait seemed to work a lot better in both countries

Its a shame the scans don't do them justice I'm sure they're better still in hand. The 1955 sixpence seems to be the best but 1952 shilling is also fairly good. Might be the scan but the shilling obverses don't look too great compared to their reverses.

Very good buy for melt I think.

Most of these went in my albums as upgrades.
I ended up with 9 coins left over out of 22, Nice upgrade at the price
