OK; I have a question for all of the Lincoln fanatics. I consider myself to be one of those fanatics but something about this coin perplexes me; don't know if it's something I never noticed before, as I am not going to refer back to any other photos I have seen or any of the VDB's that I have owned personally, which have been very many. I always thought the VDB on the reverse was always well-centered between the wheat stalks. The OP's coin shows the VDB to be off to the left somewhat, with the B actually being centered. Was the VDB added separately with a VDB punch? I always thought it was part of the master die.
