Hello all, I am an avid collector of mexican coins and currency. Mostly due to the fact I am proud of my hispanic heritage and believe all money ( mexican or not) has an interesting story behind it . Sadly , I do not see very many of the hispanic stuff on here. So all collectors like me, here is a chance to display some of our great finds from throughout the years  I will post some pics of my collection later on.  |

I asked the same thing a while back and don't really remember what the powers to be said. I agree, I collect Mexican coins, especially the silver. I'd like to see a Mexican or Hispanic coin thread but I don't know if there is the support. Post away though, I think it would be great to see your coins.  |

I like a lot of the Latin-American coins, but avoid buying them because I simply don't know anything about them or their metallic content. I would like to see what you have to share!

Welcome to the forum! I'm also into collecting Mexican coins and would love to see what you have. I'm working on several sets (but not making huge progress in any of them) including a type set from 1900-present, 1/2 reales from the first republic and 8 reales in general. I'm still pretty new to the reales but this site has been a great way to learn about the coins.

I love the coins of Mexico, as far as getting their own special place on the forum... Unless we have a lot more collectors from Mexico joining the forum, I doubt that there will be an expansion for Mexican coins and currency. Here is a pile of my Moneda;  And some silver;  Oh and to our family! |
