Goldflake, I don't think it's worth too much over face, I'd say about $110 or so. Any comments on this, Curious what you guys personally think this A-C Block $1 Hawaii is worth. In the Standard guide it describes the A-C Block as the most valuable block of any Hawaii note, and not common in this condition. Why is it soo much more then the F-C Block? Did they mix up prices on the A-C and F-C block? Just seams a print run of 12,000 would be rarer and more valuable then 1,000,000. I put this bill somewhere in the EF range. THX Guys! The A-C block has fewer survivors than the F-C block.....and if my memory serves me, I think the A-C block has less notes in the population reports than the $1 Hawaiian Star.
Recent EF auction sales of the A-C block have been around $150.....the price goes up significantly for CU notes.

I picked this up on ebay a few days ago. The seller sent it without any tracking, which had me worried until it showed up. The most common 1917 series $2 USN. Nice condition for what I paid. I love the verbiage on the reverse.   |

hajduk - looks to be VG or so, very tough note, nice pick-up. yakima - VF/XF in appearance. Only drawback is the basically-missing lower obverse margin; this note is always difficult to find with good centering because the margins are so tight to begin with. Here is an example - I looked for a decent one for a long time. Notice, if you can, how thin the margins are, especially on the bottom.  Edited by Coinfrog

Mr Frog, that is a super $2 USN. Yes the margins on all of mine from that series leave something to be desired.

Just this week while moving money formy mother and asking for half dollars,the drive-up teller offered me $50.00 bills dated, 1934 and 1950. Also had some $20.00 bills 1934 and 1950 were available. I puchased 7 of the $50.00 billsand 13 ofthe $20.00 bills. She offered me a $20.00 with the * after the serial number, no knowing I passed on it. Darn! Webekin

1923 with the Woods-White Signature combo. I should have the Woods-Tate signature Note next here in the near future. Then it's time to hunt down the 3 in Star replacements!  Edited by CollectorKing
