Those ebay bucks offers will be the ruin of me. So, I could not resist getting another National from my old home town. Not rare, not better than VF, but I love these Yakima notes. YB  |

I love this thread and the notes our fellow members share. Just picked this up from the BST over at Collectors Universe. I have many Tampa Nationals, and almost all are nicer than this example, but this is the lowest numerical grade I have with a PPQ designation. It's a 1929 Type II $10 in an old PCGS holder (not my favorite holder), and I got it fairly cheap.   |

Yakima- Could be a number of things, but a wet ink transfer would be a good guess..

The pinkish hue could be the remains of a washed off teller stamp.

Not an ink transfer. Some sort of staining. (i.e what westernsky noted)
