Just arrived today. Another serial #12 fresh from the pack......and it's from the 12th district. Looks GEM to me.

Congrats Steve. What are the odds of me finding one of those in circulation?

Steve, I apologize if you've answered this before, but what's the significance of the number 12 for you? As always, your notes impress.

It's the amount of money in his bank account each week after his latest purchase?

It has changed throughout the years, but originally it started with Joe Willie Namath and my newly found fascination with sports icons which I admired. My first son, Joseph William was named after Namath. Today my lucky #12 is Tom Brady. Say what you want but Tom is steady, he has been extremely reliable for over 15 years, and he's a winner. Check out some of my #12 icons; http://athlonsports.com/nfl/121212

Good enough reason for me (as if that matters). Thanks!
If I were to attempt the same thing, it would have to be for the number 25 as I've always been a big fan of Jim Thome of MLB.

And, in an astounding alignment of the stars, 12 is also the number of regular season games Mr. Brady will be eligible for next season! Indeed, this is fate.

Just picked this up. Bust-out color and embossing. The early FRNs are probably a more interesting series, but the GCs from this area hog the spotlight.
