Hi Confrog, I bought him in the States. This is my latest addition.

Yes, very nice. Love the red seals, the doomed orphans of the small note series.

I picked these up to fill out my silver cert collection a bit. (Corners are sharp even though they don't appear that way in the poor lighting.)

Quote: Wheat - C'mon, give us something to chew on! How did you grade it? Original embossing, crispy paper. Only had the two light vertical folds and it has a shot at AU.

Wheat - Thanks. Any idea if the buyer will submit it? I'd love to see the TPC grade.
CK - Nice SC stars. How far back do you go?
tech - Way out of my experience, this Florida fractional. Rare?

Thanks, CoinFrog and GR58. Currently my oldest silver certs are 1935A (both a "regular" issue and a Hawaii note). My older silver cert star note is a 1935E.

CK - your '57-A and '57-B stars can often be had on ebay in TPG 65 PQ for less than the cost of submission!

I considered that when shopping for these two, but graded holders don't work with my current storage/display system. If/when I get serious about collecting high end notes and attempt to join you heavy hitters, I will re-tool my storage to allow for graded holders.

Coinfrog, the Florida note is Cr.26; not rare; rarity 5 on scale of 1-11 with 11 being highest. Just nice note and didn't have this type in the collection.

Wheat - Confused - so you actually sold it, and that person sent it to S/B for auction?
