Picked this up last week. Virtually perfect centering and paper wave so strong that you can actually see it through the holder in this pic. Off to PMG soon, pretty confident of 65PQ. This almost completes my gem collection of this short series (only 7 Fed banks issued notes). I'd like to own the rare Dallas note in 65 some day, but it seems unlikely.  |

Yes, very common note. This a Light Green Seal, but worth less than its DGS counterpart, which is often not the case.

Just bought these for $10, wanted the $2 "D" to fill in set and give the junk SC's to grandkids, if they screw 'em up it won't matter.  Maybe keep that 1935 for the "ugliest bill" contest! It's the cousin of my $2 1928 "C"...  Edited by Crazyb0

To me, I've always assumed that PM means private message, or e-mail - same thing. Clue us in, folks.

Added another $100 FRN Series of 1928, St. Louis district, to my collection this weekend. I'm trying to get all 12 districts in 65PQ or better (probably won't make it). St Louis is very tough, with only about 187,000 printed in total. This is a CGA note, so I was very careful in buying it, but the color and embossing are strong and I can see evidence of paper wave through the holder. Prices on this series are pretty reasonable, because I don't think many people collect them.  |
