Steve - I understand the steps and as you know, I have posted umpty dozens of photos here in the past without difficulty using the same process. It simply does not work for me anymore under the new system, no matter how small the saved image, scan or photo, even those I have shown in the past.

CK - Good suggestion.

I'm sorry Mr.Frog, and am familiar with most of your beautiful photo posts in the past.

Before everything changed here at CCF, switching to Full Reply was not a necessary step for me when I wanted to post scans.

Once again, I'm sorry my explanation was of little help.

Well, hopefully you can get your issues squared away. Seems like your problem is getting some attention in the support forum. Here's one of my recent acquisitions... 1935D Narrow PCGS 66 PPQ.

CCF Image Optimizer Used on this one with no tweaks. Just upload and save as-is, which is what I have always done in the past.

Post-Your-New-Currency-Acquisitions!

This one looks better than the $2 USN I tried previously, but it's still a bit off. I'll play with it some more.

Thanks, Steve. I've been having fun putting together a collection of graded 1935 SCs. I still need to find a decent North Africa that I can afford.

Yours is pretty sharp, too!

CK - PM me, I can possibly help you out with a graded NA note.

CK - Also, on that '35D SC above, are you saying that's a scan that you uploaded without resizing?

Will do! And thank you.

No, I scanned the note, used the CCF optimizer (without making any tweaks, just let it auto-optimize), then saved it local and uploaded the resulting CCF-optimizer-optimized image.

It still looks "off" to me, as I said earlier. Slightly grainy and pixelized. Perhaps if I had played with the sharpness setting...

Thanks. Didn't realize there is an "auto optimize" feature. Agree your image is a bit "off" but at least it's quite presentable - I would be happy to get back to this point.

My latest addition from the ANA auction, and my first WEB error.

Does the fold error drop grading points? From the scan, that note appears to be better than a 30.

Steve, when you made me aware of that Note, I tried all weekend trying to contact Stacks, and emailed them offering full price...
By the time they replied, it was sold for around $480.00 ~ a really good price...

Congrats.

Indeed!

I don't think the error affects the grade - the scan isn't pulling up the wear details I'm guessing. Hard to believe this note got handled enough to drop it to the 30 level.

If it was circulated, and it must have been, then the graders must have positioned it in the holder as it was printed.
