Just a link to one of their dodgy items will do, or even just the ebay item number. I check all their listed items, sold items and also their feedback. I might even send them a message pointing out the fact that their so called 'error' is not an 'error' but PMD.

Quote:If you can determine that someone is doing something which is deliberately trying to rip people off (eg the "jesus" $1 PMD coin with the free yak bone) then those people should not be dealt with at all - they may well pull some other deliberate rip off. When everything the seller lists is ?able, and their tactics are ?able, you have a MO that is pretty conclusive.

Quote: The $2 coin has been removed Hmmm. Try this link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...p=true&rt=ncBoth links were for $2 coins, with the words 'mule like' in the description, and turns a $2 coin into over $30 - $40, so as long as there are uneducated buyers, this sort of unscrupulous deception will continue. About 6 years ago, a fairly well respected seller with at least 2 ebay ID's for selling was using this terminology, and one buyer paid over $60 for a 'mule like' $2 coin. I emailed the buyer and set them straight, but don't know if the money was refunded or whether the buyer even asked for a refund. The seller's two ID's are still registered with ebay, sells many thousands of coins per year, so it just goes to show that being an unscrupulous scoundrel can pay off. I did manage to get him barred from a now defunct Australian forum for his deceptive ways.
