No unfortunately, sellers can block buyers but buyers can't do anything other than puting them on your saved sellers list with a note never to buy from, works for me & if I find a seller has 2or3 or however many accounts I make a note of that too.

Any seller that makes it on to my ebay 'Germ' list will never get any of my money. I refuse to encourage the likes of them to continue with their deceptive practices.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...:RTQ:AU:1123Dear Dean No I havent had it appraised by a coin dealer and I would think it is also a crime to accuse innocent people of illegal activity when it is unjust I can assure you I have not tampered with this coin it is the same condition as it came into my possession and I certainly will not lose sleep if it doesn't sell it is on here because its an interesting item certainly not to make big bucks! Thank you - joystreasures31

It would appear that the coin in question is a drier coin, and it would be highly unlikely that they had deliberately "manufactured" it.
I suspect that there would be widespread ignorance of the process involved that results in these coins, and as such many people (even casual collectors) unfamiliar with these would conceivably consider such coins as a rare or unusual flaw.
Perhaps you should have taken a different approach in your Q&A, toning it down and instead offering to educate the seller about what had caused the damage to the coin.

FNQ What is a drier coin? I'd love to see what you mean when you said you suspect that there would be widespread ignorance of the process involved that results in these coins, and as such many people (even casual collectors) unfamiliar with these would conceivably consider such coins as a rare or unusual flaw Deano

The diameter of a commercial drier is man times that of a coin, so each revolution rubs the edge many times, raising the rim and reducing the coin diameter.

Hi, would be glad to help out as I'm sick of the people on e-bay taking advantage of people with "rare error" coins and notes at extremely outrageous prices... There is one seller that has pages of "error" things for sale and when I queried him he wouldn't reply...lol.. Will find a few and let you know.... Glad someone's doing something to put a stop to this... Cheers Ray

Quote: This person has 3 coins Yep, that's one of the first creeps that made it on my list of ebay Germs. All 3 of his coins are 'shed jobs'. Stay vigilant people. I wish there was something that ebay would take notice of, but I've never had any luck getting cr*p like this pulled. I suppose if they sell, ebay gets their cut, but if they pull them, ebay gets nothing.
