I already have one of these for type (a higher grade but it had been lightly cleaned at one time...it's mostly white), but I couldn't pass up on buying this completely original beaut!

It's hard to say no to a Trade dollar.

Don't have a lot of experience grading these. I think it's VF20. I see a fair amount of wear on the reverse and also at the high points on the obverse. I am curious to know what you grade it. I'd like to get more proficient at these.

I'll give my grade estimate in a few days. Too many of these have been mishandled and cleaned which is why I said "yes" the moment the dealer showed it to me.

Okie-colin...I appreciate the offer, however I'm probably going to hold onto it for a bit. Who knows, maybe we can do a trade one day for something you find on the bourse.

This coin is a very nice Fine...very choice for the grade. What makes it so special is that soooo many of the available Trade dollars have been messed with and/or cleaned. This one struck me as amazing for the type and the not-so-lofty grade and the fact it really has no problems to speak of.
