I found this 2005 West Virginia State Quarter. The reverse has an error on the lower right rim. See scans.
My two questions are:
What is this error called?
Any numismatic value?

That would be a Cud, a specific type of die break that affects the face and shank of a die. WV quarters are known for Cuds but any error on a State Quarter tends to be popular. I would estimate the value at $10-20.

Yes, Colorado is another of the states more commonly found with Cuds.
