Prethen Pillar of the Community United States 3234 Posts	Posted 01/30/2007 4:03 pm It's very tough to grade by this picture. Gold is especially difficult to photograph well, especially for grading purposes. Based on the shadowing I'm seeing, my gut feel says AU50. Report this Post to the Staff

I dont see any wear on the eagles shoulder. the headdress looks full detail. there is a mark in between the stars at 2o'clock. the coin has nice luster. Report this Post to the Staff

I think the mylar in the holder is masking some nice luster to this coin and making some areas on the obverse look like there's rub when there isn't. I don't see any significant stray marks. I'd say at least MS62. It may go higher, but I'd have to see a pic of the coin out of the holder to determine that. Report this Post to the Staff
