Here is an edited picture of one of my new coins. I wish I could undo the hole in this coin like I did in this photo. Its a nice example of this type that I bought for a fairly cheap price. I didnt have one until now.

I accidently reversed the pictures but I was just trying to see what the coin looked like with out the hole, just having fun. Its the first coin I have of this type so I'm happy with it.

Very nice jessvc1
I'm curious, how many different emperors do you have now and how many are there to get them all?

Very interesting coin--the Chi-Rho really stands out! Usurpers like Magnentius had notably short reigns (January 18, 350 -- August 11, 353). I have to wonder what impression this turnover had on daily life for Roman citizens?

Even with the hole it is a very nice coin with excellent facial detail. Wish my copy of this coin looked as good.

I don't know how many I have but it's probably still a ways till I get close. Now I'm wondering. Thanks for the comments everyone. This is as close to a nice detailed coin I could get without spending a crazy amt. of money. I usually go for the portraits and reverse images and this coin should fit in with the rest of my collection nicely

These are hard to find with all of the legends. Yours has as little as most but it happens to have the full mintmark for Trier which is the mint I lack in my collection. It also has just enough of the bottoms of the obverse letters to tell that it is Magnentius rather than his brother and Caesar Decentius. Even with the hole it is a nice coin with extra nice portrait.

Holed or not, it's a nice coin. Great portrait. My one and only doesn't compare, but I plan to post soon to see if others can help with the mintmark. Once again, nice coin!

Not bad - a Doug says these often have missing legends.
Very good photo-shopping btw.

=> wow, that's a gorgeous coin! ... and hey, I actually like the hole ... => to be honest, I think I'm gonna drill holes through all of my coins so that I can put a mitten-string through all of them ... otherwise, my Mum says that I'm gonna lose 'em ... *sigh*
