Looks like gold plastic. This is what happens when a bunch of newbies bid on something like this. It's a blatant fake. Oh yeah, read the description. If you still can't figure it out after that...oh well.

Would these poor souls be protected by Paypal at least?

What is really funny to me is that the seller did not even hype anything. Love the line: Quote: gold in color
Maybe a bit harsh but I really dont feel sorry for the buyer. There was no trickery or blatantly misleading statement made by the seller IMO....

Ouch. Yeah, Paypal will protect - I'm guessing they're going to temporarily freeze the seller's account for this sale since it's the only sale in two years of registration.

She's not even looking in the right direction, and looks about 8 months infanticipating.

Yikes! A "gold" coin with tarnish on it and poor details.
Fakety fake-fake fake. I'd bet my hat on it.
Edit: Oh, the reverse! It makes me wish to weep. $500 down the drain.

people that have no working knowledge of 20$ saints, should not bid on them. I have no sympathy for bidders looking for a steal when they clearly know nothing about what they are bidding on

Then they take it to the dealer they should have visited first, and he has to tell them they got ripped.

The seller's description never really did infer in any way that it was an authentic coin. Let the buyer beware!

The title called it a US $20 coin. As it is not authentic, Paypal should cover it for not being as listed.
