Another $8.00 purchase from over 10 years ago (I was into errors and not vams back than), that upon closer examination under a microscope, what I thought was a bag mark on the "O", turns out to be a "O/S" variety...

When I checked this variety on VamWorld I noticed a photo of a "freckles" eagle, and when I checked my coin I noticed that mine also showed 'freckles" on the eagle... I don't know if this is worth sending to ANACS or not and will let the VAM experts here advise me...
(this coin also looks like it has been wipped clean at some point)
High resolution photos can be emailed for closer examination, my email address is; vernonpeterson@gmail.com

Looks like a VAM 4 LDS, the EDS are worth more money, but the coin also exhibits a pitted die, generally caused from rust on the die before striking. This example is a nice AU53 Details - cleaned. Probably not worth the expense of TPGing it, but still a nice premium over a regular date/mm version!

Thanks guys... I was working on the different rarity scales used on the same type VAMs since I've been looking for VAM varieties and will be posting what I found shortly in this forum...
