Woohoo! Thanks to today's mail delivery, my stack has officially reached 101 ounces of silver! I'd been working on slowly adding to my ASE collection and I somehow forgot to add in my handful of world silver bullion coins and 90% silver. Pretty cool!

Great job. The way prices are today, it will take me a while before I cap off my next hundred. I'm jealous!

Thanks everyone. I'm going to finish out collecting 100 ASEs and then move on to collecting something new. I'm thinking something in the Canadian wildlife series might be next. I'm already looking forward to it!

coinwatch,
Other than the Canada $5 Maple Leaf, you may want to consider: Great Britain Britannia 2£ Note China 10 Yuan Panda Australia $1 Kangaroo Mexico 1 Onza Libertad

That's great! Congratulations, it's so hard to save up that money and not want to purchase anything else.

Quote: Be careful who you tell as your collection grows. That's good advice, carmykle. And I completely agree. I'm pretty security conscious even at this early stage of my collecting. Nothing's in the house. Everything is at the bank. And while I share a lot of my interests and hobbies with friends and family, I keep the details of this little hobby pretty much to myself. That's one of the reasons I enjoy being here on CCF! There are some incredibly savvy collectors here and lots of good advice, too. Bottom line is that this is pretty much the only venue I allow myself to talk coins. So, well, thanks for being here, you all!

Quote: Other than the Canada $5 Maple Leaf, you may want to consider: Going Canadian seemed the easy choice since the coins are available everywhere and usually with minimal commission. And the Maple *is* a nice coin. But you're absolutely right. I picked up a silver Britannia, 1 Ozna Libertad, and an Australian Koala very early on to see which I really liked. The Britannia is one exceedingly beautiful coin in a very traditional way. Actually, my problem is that I've yet to buy a coin that I really didn't like. LOL! I've yet to get my hands on a panda but I suspect I'd like it too. Plus, I'm warming up to the idea that the pandas really do appreciate faster than most other coins. Thanks again for the suggestions!
