Exactly where it should be graded at (VG10) IMO of course (and apparently NGC's also)

Glad you didn't get a details grade for the scratches, I think the 1700 and early 1800 coins get a bit of a pass on normal wear damage for being well over 200 years in circulation (though I'm sure this didn't circulate all 217 years of it's life!

ANACS has been hitting stuff pretty hard as of the past 18 months of so, guess the market is changing for
TPG's they want to be known as the company with no overgraded coins, not that this one was at VG10, but at G6 they are playing it very, very safe on their end.
