I looked through 10 Brinks rolled cent rolls today and there was not even one copper cent out of ten rolls. I also searched 10 rolls of nickels and only 1 pre 1964 nickel in the bunch,a badly battered 1941. Is it just me ,or,are things quickly drying up?

Several weeks ago I got a $50 bag of pennies - not one pre-1959 but, oddly, only 5 older than 2005. With nickels I am having results similar to yours.

I'm not from the States, but that could just be a fluke/luck. It has a lot to do with the area you search. Or it could be that you're getting your rolls from dump-banks, or you're getting new money.

If you use listings on ebay as a barometer....there are a LOT of "industrial copper miners" out there! It is bound to be having an impact.

I am getting $5 face with about 8-10 wheats per box. It could be that you need to try a new bank?

Not only am I going to change banks but I am going to go with customer wrapped rolls for a while. Last 5 wheats I got were from CWR.

I'm going through about $20-$25 per day in bank rolls; still finding about 20% copper.

got 5 boxes earlier this week. One was a mix of several rolls, half were all 2011, the rest of the box was good. The other 4 boxes, were good, got 37$ worth out of around 112$. Today got 4 boxes, one all 2012, the other 3 1983 and newer. gonna see what I can get tommorrow, I'm hoping no brinks boxes, gonna bring some wrappers with me, and spot check one roll per box as I go, in case I have to immediately dump.

I'm still hitting about 25-40% copper per roll from CWR's and my credit union's processed rolls. 15 per roll (30%) is pretty common for me in upstate NY.

I was having a good run of 1970's copper in my change, but that seems to have ended. I have not received a copper cent in change for more than two weeks now. Whether this pattern will continue is yet to be seen, but it is definitely something that I have noticed.

I've been doing ok with copper. I probably get $3-$5 from every $25 box of pennies. As for wheaties, I've found more in sealed boxes than from CWR.

I get a box of brinks cents about every two weeks from a bank that I do not have a account at. only one box every two weeks because I don't want too ware my welcome out anyway I get about 24 or 25% copper and about 8 to 10 wheat's. At my bank that I have my main account at and get 4 boxes of NF String a week I get 20 or 21% coppers and 4 to 6 wheat's a box . So I'm thinking about switching banks
