I don't think I have ever gotten a dollar or half dollar coin back in change. But that doesn't stop me from spending them. I just enjoy it too much.

I spent 2 golden dollars at Rite Aid and 1 half dollar at Burger King.

$68,025.50 to go.

I spent $7 in a combination of Ikes and halves to pay for some groceries (specifically four Ikes and $3 in halves). The cashier took them and put the coins in her till without a hitch.

seeing SilverRoosevelt's post reminded me about lunch yesterday. The cashier was going to find the manager to be sure he could take them, when another customer and another cashier said they were good.

You need to start clipping coupons or stocking up when they are on sale like I do

They had bags "buy 1 get 1 free" for $5, but thought I didn't need two bags. It wasn't until I checked out I saw that the one bag I bought was $5

I need to pick a roll of halves or dollar coins.

I think using them for tips is funny. Just make sure they know it's real.
