Wow. Wish I would have seen this Post earlier. At my job we have a change machine that instead of giving you quarters gives you dollar coins do use in the vending machines. I go through about 25 dollars a week or more. I also search Halves and use those for gas.
This week I spent 8 pres dollars and 4 SACS. 30 in halves for Gas.
Lady at the gas station told me they only take American money. I asked her if she new who was on the half. She said didn't know and didn't care. I said well it is American and that's one of our Presidents. She got all ruffled and stuff. It amazes me how many people have never seen a half dollar?

Spent $20 in halves and dollar coins at the beer store. There was a homeless guy in line in front of me. I paid for his beer because that's how I roll  If you do the right thing for the wrong reason it is still half right. $35,651 to go. |

I spent $2 in dollar coins to help pay for an amusement park pass and another $7 in dollar coins to help pay for a car wash, for a total of $9.
