Spent $34 in halves and dollar coins including 1 Ike at Walmart on a gift card for my neighbor down south who watches my house when I'm not there and soem more $1 2 liters of soda. Stopped at the bank in the grocery store to pick up some more rolls of dollar coins. The teller asked if I confused anyone with them since that is what I told her I do with tghem when I spend them and she said it was a great idea and she was going to try it to. I told her no one new since I picked up the last batch but I was getting ready to drop $500 worth on Sears Roebuck, & Co when I left there and she loved it  Used $500 in dollar coins to pay my credit card bill at Sears. Now I remember why I stay away from shopping areas during the holidays. Spent $11 in dollar coins at Kohls on my $10 of $10 coupon purchase. The cashier said she didn't thin she could take them because the bank no longer takes certain dollars. Say what now   She had to get a manager. The manager had to go to the service counter with 1 of them. In the mean time the cashier says "Oh yeah it is the Susan B Anthony dollars the bank no longer takes" $27,265.50 to go. * corrected total |
