(erm, Gyrene, you do know what "squaw" actually means, right . . . ?)

To help Gyrene out, there is controversy about that word. Discussion of the controversy at CCF is probably a bad idea.

Carry on!

Yup. We just renamed a local mountain from Squaw Peak to . . . some local female fighter pilot, I forget her name (I'm never out that way, so . . . . ) and there's a motion to get the name of Squaw Peak Road changed, too.

. . . and there is no "c" anywhere in Peak, fingers, thank you.

*sits and fidgets* I still wanna know our estimated date of completion!

Piestewa Peak ring a bell, Nina?

As to an estimated date of completion, it's not too tough to extrapolate:
We've spent about $13K in 6 months, back of the envelope calculations say about 3.35 more years till we've all spent $100K worth

That's if we were to continue contributing at the same rate. But as more people begin contributing the rate will increase so realistically it should take less time than that. Depending on the upward limit of the number of people exposed to this project that will contribute and the amount and frequency of their contributions of course.

If you figure the average since it started, this project has covered 7+ months, with an average of about 1691 spent per month. That would mean about 4 years & 3.5 months to completion.

If you figure the average over the last 4 months, then the average is 2125 spent per month. That would mean about 3 years & 5 months to completion.
