I think the answer will be no but I wanted to see if anyone had any more insight on this issue.
My question is after getting a coin graded when they send it back in the slab with the mint packaging boxes is there any advantage to saving the boxes? My guess is I might as well just get rid of the boxes but wasnt sure if there was something I didnt know about.
Thanks for the help

You can- if you want. The slab fits in the box if you remove the insert.

If you sell the coin later, some buyers might like to have the original mint packaging, even when slabbed.

Usually they don't send the packaging back.

Sometimes boxes to certain high demand products can be worth a signifigant amount of money on the secondary market. For example empty 2009 Ultra High relief boxes were going for around $50 a while ago, a 1915 Panama-Pacific commemerative set box a ccf member sold on heritage with no coins in it went for hundreds of dollars.

Thanks for the help guys.
It was the 5oz hockey puck 2011 america the beautiful coins that I sent in and got the boxes back and was thinking of what to do with them. I think I will hang on to the boxes for a while and see what happens. Two of the coins came back lower than I thought and probably will try and sell and upgrade those. I can always throw the boxes away at a later date, can unthrow away something though lol.
Again I appreciate it though

If I may, I have a similar enough question that it fits here.
Eventually I plan to get my fiancee's Cheerios dollar and penny slabbed and graded, but I would like to keep the original packaging as well. Is there any space in submission forms to put in a request of this nature?

The other option would be depending how you have them stored you could just send the coins in in flaps and keep all the mint packaging at the house if you are worried it wont be returned

Well, it's a Cheerios dollar in the original packaging. Removing it from the packaging would not be a good idea. A photo, for reference.

For packaging like that I have no idea to be honest I think they will have to destroy it to get the coin out and slab it. I would say give them a call and ask as the best advise.
