I am no expert on forgeries, but with the seller's location in China and a rarity like this I think I would pass.
Things that sound too good to be true almost certainly are.

Toning looks totally fake. Looks like someone got a paintbrush and painted it out. The color of the coin does not looks right and the ware on the coin looks odd. And like Smallcentguy said it is from China. Sorta makes it look more fake. Skip.

I'd definitely pass on this... not worth the risk...the 2 in '1921' looks strange to me, and as was previously mentioned the colour does not look right or a toned silver coin.

From China but text of description is in German, correct?
Maybe the US and Canada are catching on, that's good.
I looked at all the other items he has for sale and they all look counterfeit to me. Reported all.
All of these are counterfeit coins that this seller presently has up for sale. Unless you stop it all items in the future that he is selling will be the same. Thank you.

yes the language is German. and actually a German that is not translated by google, but by a human who does speak it.
although there are a few grammar mistakes.
the coin itself.. It is a NO brainer...
The coin is an AUTHENTIC Chinese Fake!! imho
had the guy started at 1 $ , he would probably have a lot of bids.
But the coin appears to be at least VF30 or better. that makes it a coin with a trends Value of at least $7000 and up.......
why sell it sooooooo cheap?
seller probably has multiples....

If I didn't think ebay would stop auction soon I would buy it now and then give negative feedback immediately as I used to do in past. Mike M with help from RCMP changed all that so we should see the listing gone soon. Come on ebay, wakey, wakey. |

If ebay drags it's feet and the listing ends and has a final high bidder ... and if they pay with Paypal, and even if the slugs get shipped, I think ebay will shut down the listing(s) and Paypal will refund the money to the winners automatically. (I use the word "winners" loosely) Not sure, but visit those links I put in my earlier post later on and I bet the listings are eventually removed by ebay. I've been having pretty good luck reporting and getting results using the link to report through our Coin forum topic supplied and titled: eBay Auction Violation Reporting

I will buy it now in the morning if the auction is still there. I hit this guy 17 times in March for fake Canadian stuff.
