can someone give me Krause number for this coin and approximate value.

It's been a while since I saw a French coin here :)

This one is from the Lyon mint (mint master is the sitting dog - it corresponds to Citoyen (citizen) Papet)
About 1.574.072 were made (including variations this year / mint)

Year 7 means 1799 : 7 years after 1792 - when the republican calendar was created after the French revolution (this calendar was used till 1806)
