I'm no expert but it has a cast look to it. This is especially evident with the speckling/bubbles on the obverse at three and five o'clock.

I'm sure the pros will ask for this as well, but can you show the edge lettering, please?

I agree ^

The photos I am comparing it too of genuine coins, show the reverse to have a lot of differences, die varieties? Maybe but the whole coin looks wrong, cast or struck from a crudely copied die.

Looks alot like this counterfiet in a fake PCGS slab; http://www.flickr.com/photos/coinfo...photostream/

It sure looks like a fake. Is it magnetic?

I'm no expert on the Draped Bust, small eagel; but in doing research (Bower and others) I did not find an example of the rocks at the eagle's feet with so little detail, even in the coins with weak strikes. The fact the coin is magnetic is also a major negative.

Not even a "good" fake; this one won't fool anyone who's seen more than one Draped Bust Dollar before.

No US coin will be magnetic, except 1943 wheat cents and the rare 1944 wrong planchet Wheat cent error.

Would not even make a good example for the Black Cabinet. I guess that all examples would be good ones to catalog.
