The first two appear to grade around MS-63/64. I think the last one is around AU-55/58. It appears the bottom two have what I think may be rust stains.

Beautiful and valued USA coins ...

My opinion based on the photos ... all three are MS ... the first two perhaps MS63/MS64 ... and alas the 1904-S suffers from some significant bag hits/handling marks ... so MS62 for the 1904-S.

Great coins ... thanks for sharing.

I would not assume these coins are uncirculated based on these photos. Unc status is mostly dependent on luster and the images show little or none. All three coins show at least slight darker areas in the fields which could be due to friction from brief circulation. The 1904-S in particular stands out as a likely AU, not MS coin.

In terms of bagmarks I agree the 1904 pieces are both pretty choice with scattered tiny pockmarks and a couple minor scratches. I could see these as MS-63, IF the luster is intact. Do they cartwheel properly when tilted under a light?

As an aside, the 1904 is the most common Liberty double eagle. Unless one or both are solid candidates for MS grade, or if you have concerns about authenticity, I would not send them for grading. A certified AU 1904 is worth about the same as a raw coin.

Regardless, a trio of double eagles is a solid base for a valuable collection. What else is in your stash? Please continue to share!
