This coin was amazing. Even with my extremely limited budget, I was able to get it. Please let me know what you think of the grade:

How did I do?

For me, much of the choice with buying or leaving Peace dollars is about the strike. This coin has a stupid strike. The images aren't quite up to making the grade choice at or above MS64 (no offense meant), but the coin is in that neighborhood.

The strike! Whoa. You rarely see unflattened obverse lettering; they're usually very flat near the rim and this one is not. The Y in LIBERTY and maybe the ST in TRVST are slightly flat, and so (interestingly-enough) seems to be the last few letters of AMERICA on the reverse. This is a corresponding location, so maybe a hypothesis can be advanced that this was a strike from slightly-misaligned dies.

It's a hard strike from a fresh die. Alignment test, maybe, one that was deemed acceptable for circulation? I dunno, but it's a keeper.

From these pictures it looks like at least a MS-65

The coin appears to be MS maybe somewhere around 64 or so.

The typical strike for a Peace dollar is flat and mushy. Yours on the other hand is beautifully struck and shows all the details it was meant to show. Even with the tiny rim nick at 8 o'clock on the reverse this coin is a solid 65 in my opinion.

I think at MS64 you got a good deal this coin looks to be on the high side and maybe reaching MS65! Better photos would be needed though.
