I recently bought a 2011 25th aneversary NGC MS70 red lable 1 oz silver eagle. When I got home and did a little more research on it, I noticed that NGC put out these 25th aneversary coins in a red, as well as blue lable. On NGC's web site, the only mention of 25th aneversary coins show that they slap a blue lable on them. I cannot find anywhere what the red lable means. I always thought the blue lable meant early release, but the 25th aneversary blue labels go for about %25 more. Can someone please explain what the difference between an NGC red and blue lable is, and why the blue lable goes for a little more?

to CCF here is what NGC has to say about it.

http://www.ngccoin.com/coingrading/ngc-labels.aspx

Hope that helps. They say the blue label represents a First early strike issued coin, the only Red label I see are for 9/11 coins or World coins.

Yea I saw that on their website, but it didn't mention anything about the red lable 2012's that they put out... Just wondering if anyone has any additional information on these aneversary eagles.
