It looks like a 1783 Nova Constellatio The only thing I can't make out is the number under the US.

It could be either poorly cast or badly corroded. Can we see some higher resolution pictures, it's weight and diameter?

At first glance to me it looks cast, but like mentioned above, clearer photos would be a plus. Hope it's real!

This looks like a cast copy of the Nova Constellatio Mark patttern to me.
